Dad's pursuit...

Growing up my dad always wanted a corvette. I think few car lovers from that time period did not. When I was in high school my dad finally was able to buy one. I remember that it was such a huge deal that I even got to miss a half day of school to go help pick it up. Mom would have never let something like that happen unless it was a big deal! We did some minor work to this and then had it repainted from it's gray silver anniversary paint to a nice dark purple. Today the motor is in need of a rebuild but there are too many other project that are in line so right now it's all about looks.
