The start of a long project

This page needs to be updated pretty badly but I wanted to at least get something up for the time being. I bought this 69 nova when I was in high school to drive while my dad and I were rebuilding the 72 nova. I paid 100 bucks for it and it was the best money I ever spent! It had a 307 in it that was one of the most reliable engines I have ever had the pleasure of driving. The previous owners had hit a deer or two and also had scratched their names in the fender. During my time as owner I was shooting a short film for one of my classes and ended up pushing this car down the road sideways with a pick-up. The footage was great but it gave the car a few more dents. Surprisingly, after I went off to college, my father decided to start rebuilding this bad boy. Even though he has spent quite a bit on the car, I like to remind my father that I put the money into it first. heh

Below is how it looked when we first started...

A little farther...

Yes the garage is a total mess but such is life. Here are some shots after most of the rust has been replaced with new panels and the rearend has been set up with the tires that will be used.

Getting some paint...

Here are some shots of the car in the paint booth at Eilers...

Here is a shot of the motor today. Big Block 454...

Check back and hopefully I will be able to find some more pictures from this 7 year project...
